C Zone for 2-11 year olds (Nursery to School Year 6)
Sundays 9.30am
The children start in the service with their parents until they are instructed to go to their groups after the "Family Focus" slot and children's song. They are divided into 3 age groups meeting in 3 different rooms on the All Souls premises for C Zone (Children's Zone, which is our Children's Church or "Sunday School"). Here they enjoy a time of singing, praying and Bible teaching in a large group, as well as time in small groups during which the leaders discuss the Bible passage with the children and help them to apply it to their lives. They also do a craft activity to take home so the parents will know what their children have learnt about. Parents are advised to leave the main service during the final hymn in order to fetch their children before the rest of the church family flood into their rooms for tea and coffee.
For more information about the Childrens Work, which is for 0-11 year olds (up to and including Primary School Year 6), go to the C Zone pages, or contact our families and childrens worker, Brenda Beckett.
