Explorers Weekend Away: "Big Questions"

We took 31 children and 10 leaders to Dalesdown Centre on 5-7 March for the weekend.  Dalesdown is a fabulous facility, with plenty for the children to do and enjoy. We had some quality time looking at the BIG QUESTIONS children have from the Bible. Our cook, produced a delicious array of eats. We played fun games, and were blessed with sunny weather. On Saturday night, we put on an enlightening show, "C Zone's Got Talent" ... and saw just how much talent C Zone has! We look forward to the next weekend away in October 2010. 

All Age Carol Service: "The First Christmas", and Families Christmas Lunch

On Sunday 13 December 2009 the children and teenagers at All Souls took part in this service for families and friends. There were sheep, shepherds, angels, stars, Mary and Joseph, and of course baby Jesus! The message of the service was: The first Christmas was all about Jesus being born, the King of Kings! Some hated him, some worshipped him. Which are you? Will you worship Jesus this Christmas?

After the service, the families went across to St Paul's for a fun filled Christmas party, with activities for the younger children, plus a great All Age Christmas Quiz for everyone else! Then it was time for a delicious roast turkey lunch.
