London Concert - 8 May 2010
Prom Praise returned to London's most iconic venue, Royal Albert Hall, on Saturday 8 May 2010 - see this page for news of how it went and look out for the CD/DVD recording to come out later this year.
Are there additional opportunities to attend Prom Praise outside of London?
Prom Praise events take place around the UK through the year. Tickets are typically available through the local venue or committee. Further details of these events are available on the external website, together with information on recordings made by the orchestra.
What is Prom Praise?
It is a mixture of church service and concert: blending hymns and worship music with an orchestral backing alongside selections of secular music. Singers and choirs, as well as solo musicians provide contributions to the events to create an atmosphere of celebration at each Prom Praise concert.
The Orchestra has an active tour programme, worked into weekends throughout the year, together with a summer tour and additional London-based concerts.
DVD and CD Recordings of Prom Praise :
2007 marked the 30th Anniversary of Prom Praise, celebrated by a very special Easter Gala Prom Praise at the Royal Albert Hall. An outstanding CD and DVD recording of this event was released. The featured guests at the 2008 Royal Albert Hall event were popular hymn/songwriter Keith Getty and his singer wife, Kristyn. This event was also recorded for CD which was released in Autumn 2008. Both these recordings are available on the Orchestra website.
