Ben Mandley joined the All Souls staff team as full-time Student Worker in September 2008.
He is married to Jude, and they have twin sons, Phinehas and Jasper. For three years prior to taking up the post at All Souls, he worked in London for UCCF with central London Christian Unions as a Staff Worker - so Ben knows the London student scene well.
He was brought up in a Christian family, with loving parents, but at the age of 12 when at a camp when he first really grasped the seriousness of sin and the sufficiency of the Cross to deal with it.
The three years spent at Nottingham University, studying Molecular Biology were amongst the most foundational in Ben's Christian life, through the influence of the Christian Union, Church and UCCF staff workers.
Hopes for the student work at All Souls are to see students come to faith and for Christian students to grow in discipleship, loving Jesus and living boldly for Him at university, being equipped for a lifetime of service, wherever they end up in the world.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys reading, photography and a range of sports. He's a Port Vale fan, so regularly feels a little depressed at 5pm on a Saturday ...
