Who's who

Jenny Gallagher became a Church Warden in 2008.  She's been a member of All Souls since coming to London in 1988.  She is actively involved in church family life having served as a fellowship group leader from 1989-2006 and deputy warden from 1998.

Born in Tullamore, Ireland, as the daughter of a Methodist clergyman, she moved regularly, living mostly within Northern Ireland.  Coming to faith in Jesus Christ at a young age, life provided many opportunities for service and leadership : youthwork, beach missions and while at University, involvement in the Christian Union.  The global challenge of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and joy of worshipping with international church family was stimulated by her student elective in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire).

In 1984, she qualified as a dentist from Queen's University, Belfast and has worked in hospital and community dentistry and general dental practice before specialising in Dental Public Health and gaining her doctorate.  She is currently Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Dental Public Health and Head of Department at King's College Dental Institute, London.

Jenny is married to David; they have two children, Victoria and James.  She enjoys reading, travelling, cooking and family life.
